Bob Marley could very well have been talking about the idyllic enclave of Puerto Morelos, where Brisa y Mar is the newest and most luxurious beachfront retreat. THE VILLA

Only 20 minutes’ drive from Cancun airport and just a leisurely 7-minute walk from the center of Puerto Morelos, Brisa y Mar is a beautiful four-bedroom villa. Set on a scenic sweep of pristine white sand, the house offers spectacular ocean views from almost every room! Decorated in contemporary style, Brisa y Mar boasts every amenity imaginable.  Each tastefully appointed bedroom (three ocean-front with king size beds, one with two double beds) has its own ensuite bathroom. There is also a living and dining area, set in the middle of it all, where everyone can spread out and kick back in comfort. And, our houseman Jorge will welcome you like family, taking care of your every need.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AT BRISA Y MAR?

Barefoot-casual Puerto Morelos village is a quick stroll or bike ride away (we offer complimentary bikes!), so you can pop into town, get fresh fruit from the market, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a meal at any of the local restaurants.

Have the world’s most relaxing massage (we promise!) on your private beach.  Want to get your “om” on?  Private yoga instruction on the beach is no problemo.  Grab the family and take to the water in one of our kayaks,  or just spread a towel and zone out on the best section of Puerto Morelos’ famous white-sand playa.  Proud of its marine park status, there’ll be no droning jet skis to harsh your mellow.
When you’re at Brisa y Mar you can do it all or nothing at all.  Just make sure you leave time to sample the amazingly fresh ceviche prepared daily at La Playita, our favorite ceviche hut just down the beach.  If you're just too chilled out to move, our houseman Jorge will pop out and and pick some up for you!

One thing to know: The owners (that’s us!) live on the top floor.  However, each level has its own separate entrance, we’re super respectful of your privacy, and we have our own busy lives, too, so it’s unlikely that you’ll see us at all during your stay.  But if you do need anything – from a cup of sugar to restaurant recommendations or some other insider intel that only a local could supply – we’re just a phone call away.
